The Progress so far

I have just started to look at making some samples for my pillows and finding out what I would like to do for the fronts of them. With the crochet pillow in the 70's look I have chosen 3 thick yarns which go with the colour scheme, they are a light beige, a medium red and a light green colour. I feel these go well together and from the research I have done they are the sorts of colours that people would of used in there crochet. I have started to make samples with the colours I have chosen. So far I have made 4, 3 granny squares in each of the colours and then a larger one with all 3 of the colours which will be the main design of the pillow. 

I have also started to look at the now days shabby chic look and I have started to research the patterns and colours that I will need. I have also made sample of this which I will be putting in my sketch book alongside this blog and my online log. 

Later on in the week I will be looking at the other 2 pillows the bold printed design and the minimalist one, but I need to do some more research on both of these before I go any further with my ideas. 

EPQ so far

I haven't done that much on my epq this week, but I have been thinking about the designs of my pillows and where I am going to get the materials from.

I have a sketch book where I will put samples and ides in as well as this blog, and I will put the designs for the pillows and samples of material and crochet patterns so I know what I want to use when it comes around to actually making the pillow.

I am away now for 2 weeks, so I will not be able to post on my blog but I will when I get back.
